Based in West Molesey the Bright Apple Photographic Studio is bright, homely and most importantly designed to help get the best possible photos from your session.

Why photograph from a studio and not peoples homes?

This is a question I get asked a lot, whilst it may seem like an easy option to have a photographer come to you home this is not often the case. I've been a photographer for many years and tried both approaches and the advantages of a studio shoot are far greater than that of a home shoot. 

Here are the reason I choose to photograph from a studio for newborn sessions

• You have a massive choice of props to choose, albums you can browse for inspiration with far more options that I can show on my site. On home shoots I can only bring the essentials, there isn't the choice for you.
• The lightening is consistant, I have the space and equipment I need to produce the beautiful images you see here, in smaller homes this isn't always possible. 
• Apart from packing your baby bag and reading the guide you have no prep to do, on home shoots you need to move furniture, clean the floors, make space etc. in the studio all you need to do is arrive! 
• You relax more, I know this sounds odd but at home its harder to switch off from say the wash you need to put on, the door that keeps ringing, all the little things every home needs doing. At the studio there is nothing else to do but to take time out, sit back and enjoy the experience of watching you baby being photographed. In fact its so relaxed I often have parents snoozing on the sofa!

I appreciate it can feel daunting coming out with your beautiful, new, tiny baby, it is often many parents first ever trip out, but the studio is a very warm welcoming enviroment, I've literally designed it for you and you baby to feel relaxed and comfortable. I want this to be a very special, wonderful experience for you to remember forever and I do everything I can to make this happen.
