Wedding Photography in Surrey, London and surrounding areas

I have been photographing weddings since 2002 and I'm still passionate about my work. Every wedding and every couple is totally unique but the happy environment I'm lucky enough to share with the bride and groom on the day makes my work such a pleasure.

I have one rule when I'm photographing weddings. It's your wedding day not my photoshoot! I try to meet all your requirements whilst respecting the meaning of the day and your time.

I offer a 'create your own' menu so you can design your wedding photography to best fit your needs.

Every option I offer includes:

  • All photography
  • All your images with full printing rights on a USB
  • An online viewing gallery (password protected if requested)
  • Pre wedding consultation

I do not charge travel costs for weddings 30 miles or less from my KT8 postcode. Weddings further than this will incur travel costs expenses.

FAQs

How to we decide on group shots?
They are a number of shots I will try to capture as standard, these include:
The bride and groom with:
Bridesmaids
Ushers
Bridesmaids and ushers
Groom's parents
Bride's parents
Both sets of parents
Both sets of parents + bridal party
Bride's family
Groom's family
Everyone (although this shot is dependant on locations and weather somewhat)
These can be added to or reduced as you like but it is highly advised that you finalise your groups list before the wedding day and have it ready for the pre-wedding meeting for us to run through together.

Do you provide us with all images taken on the day?
On an average 8 hour wedding shoot well over 1000 images will be taken, for example 3-4 frames of every group is taken as someone always has their eyes closed, so the weaker images are removed leaving you with around 250-300 beautiful images of your day.

If you opt for shorter coverage of your day you will get approx 40 beautiful images for every hour I'm there.

What is included in your pricing?
Every option I offer includes:
All photography
All your images with full printing rights on a disk
An online viewing gallery (password protected if requested)
Pre wedding consultation

I hate having my photo taken, how will you overcome this?
Believe it or not this is a really common question and concern for lots of people on their wedding day. I have over of 10 years professional photographic experience, and have a number of tricks and tips to help you feel more comfortable in front of the lens. If you have a specific area you dislike in photos (I hate my double chin!) let me know and I can recommend poses to help and I will be able to bear this in mind when photographing you. The pre-wedding mini shoots are designed to help you overcome this too, we will work together to find poses that you feel comfortable in and flatter you to get you used to working with me so you are relaxed and confident on your big day.

What if you are ill on our wedding day?
Thankfully this has never happened in over 10 years of wedding photography, however I have close links with 2 other full time professional photographers who can be called on in emergencies (both have worked alongside me on numerous weddings in the past so I am confident of their quality and attitude). Whilst this is never a guarantee and full refunds will be given if you prefer not to use the replacement photographer I believe it is very strong back up if the worst should happen.

Are you insured?
Yes, Bright Apple Photography has full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Certificates of insurance can be provided on request.

What if your equipment fails?
I have a full range of back up equipment and I test all my cameras and lenses before every shoot I undertake.

What if it rains?
At our pre-wedding meeting we will come up with a plan B and decide on locations for rainy day photos. Stormy days can often make for dramatic skies, moody lighting and some amazing photos so don’t despair!

Can our guest take photos too?
Of course! Some churches don’t allow this during the ceremony and most places won’t allow it when signing the register but I’m happy for guests to photograph alongside me.
