Whilst specialing in Newborn Photography I love to watch familys as they grow and enjoy photographying all the special milestones as children grow up. Nothing makes me happier that seeing how your children have grown and changed since our last photoshoot and taking beautiful family photographs for you.
My name is Danielle and as well as being mummy to a gorgeous little boy, I have been working as a professional photographer since 2002. I started my professional career in a photographic studio in Kingston before deciding to take the plunge work for myself.
Since I was a child I’ve loved photography combine that with playing with children, running round parks, smashing up cakes or capturing those first tiny smiles from a newborn, really I couldn’t ask for a more fun and rewarding job.
Photography for me isn’t just about making a living, it’s about capturing a moment and expressing life. Whether that is a knowing look exchanged between a couple, uncontrollable giggles from a child or the overwhelming love a parent feels when watching their child sleep. It’s those moments I want to save and if you smile, laugh or even have a tiny tear in the corner of your eye when you first see your photos, that's when I know I've done my job well.
Finally but most importantly my shoots are about having fun and being yourself. What better excuse to spend a few hours focusing solely on your family and having those moments turned into print.
I am currently DBS approved to work with children and have trained in paediatric first aid (not that I ever had to use it thank goodness!)
I'm a member of the The Guild of Photographers which means I regularly submit my work for appraisal and adhere to a code of conduct, safety and professionalism. Keep an eye out on my blog for images that have won awards recently.
